Expansion joints
1. Axial expansion joints

.
These expansion joints are designed to take up linear movements in a piping system. The advantage of axial expansion joints is that they take up relatively little space and no directional changes in the piping are required
2. X-pressed expansion joints

They are designed so that the pressure is external to the convolutions. This type of construction eliminates squirm, thus long axial movements are made possible which could not be accomodate with an internally pressurized expansion joint. This type includes integral guide rings full thickness cover, self draining convolutions and insensivity to flow direction. The integral guide-rings permit the designer to use less guides than would be required for internal pressured expansion joints.Thick cover is designed to contain the full line pressure of the system. The advantage of x-pressed expansion joints for system designing is the most economical and safe.

3. Pipe expansion joints

Preferable for absorbing the movements on the heating pipelines of very high buildings. Advantages: - Prevents breakings and hard effect of line movements of hot lines. - Saves energy by preventing pressure drops on the lines. Saves time because it is so easy and simple to connect. - It is useful on open lines because of its decorative structure.

4. Rubber expansion joints

High pressure resistant: Rubber Joint can resist up to 570 psi burst pressure and 150 psi normal inside pressure. Temperature resistant: Rubber joint can resist hot water and usable for hot water lines. Vibration - noise absorbation: Rubber joint can absorb vibration and noise by the help of its own soft scalet structure.
5. Double-sphered expansion joint
Main features: - Isolated vibration and motion - Absorbs pipe wall and fluid noise - Reduced system stress and strain compensate for misalignment.

6. Dilation Expansion joints (Lateral)

Expansion joints are the elements for ensuring continuous and effectively running of the industrial systems by compensationg elongations, compressions and vibrations caused by temperature changes in pipelines. Dilation Expansion joints are installed on the pre-determined points of the pipelines in order to project the system by avoiding tension, breackage etc. problems caused by the collapse of building. Applications: Dilation points on the buildings, all kind of lines (underground, surface etc.) and all kind liquid following systems.

7. Dilation-Earthquake expansion joints ( angular)

Dilation -Earthquake expansion joints are protecting the system by preventing collapsing and breackage of the pipeline by compensating movements caused by earth quake, collapsing etc. in all directions. Their flexible and movable construction eliminates stress in rigid pipe systems. Application : All kind of liquid tanks, depots, machine - equipment outlets, pipelines.
